What this notice covers
It explains what personal data this website collects, why we collect it, who else sees it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to follow Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
What we collect
If you fill in a form on this site, you give us three things:
- your name
- your email address
- whatever you choose to write in the message field
That is all we ask for. You do not need an account to read anything here, and nothing on this site asks you to create one.
TO CONFIRM: Whether the web host keeps server logs, and if so what they contain and for how long. Hosting is not chosen yet. If logs record visitor IP addresses, this section has to say so.
Why we collect it
For one purpose: to read what you sent us and reply to it.
Sending us an enquiry does not put you on a mailing list. If we ever want to send you anything beyond a reply, we will ask you first, and you are free to say no.
Your consent, and taking it back
You consent to this when you send us the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to our data protection officer, named below. We will act on it, and we will tell you if withdrawing it means we can no longer do something you have asked us to do.
Who else sees it
Your enquiry is read by the people at MK8 who can answer it. We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
Loading this site also puts your browser in touch with Google, because the typeface is served by Google Fonts. That means Google receives your IP address. Nothing you type into a form on this site goes to Google.
TO CONFIRM: Which service receives the form submissions. It is not chosen yet. Once it is, this section must name it, say what it stores and say where.
Whether your data leaves Singapore
TO CONFIRM: Answered by the two blocks above. If the form service or the host stores data outside Singapore, the Act requires us to say so here, and to satisfy ourselves that the data is protected to a comparable standard.
How long we keep it
TO CONFIRM: A retention period, and who deletes it. The Act requires us to stop keeping personal data once the purpose it was collected for has ended and there is no legal reason to hold it. A stated period such as 24 months after the last contact is the usual answer, but it is a decision, not a default.
Asking what we hold, and correcting it
You can ask us for the personal data we hold about you, and for an account of how we have used it in the year before you ask. You can also ask us to correct anything that is wrong. Write to our data protection officer. We will respond within the time the Act allows, and we will tell you if there is a fee before we do any work.

Timo Josten is the data protection officer for Group East Pte. Ltd. Any question about this notice, any request to see or correct your data, and any withdrawal of consent goes to him.

Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data, we will change this page and update the date below. If a change is significant, we will say so rather than leave you to spot it.
